Old Friends and Style Moments at The WW Club

Last night Kate Warren of Go Kate Shoot and Elise Peterson of It’s Vintage Darling threw a great party at The Water Street Project. Live music (salsa!), performances, and great drinks. We were delighted to see so many friends!

The WW Club: A DC Style Speakeasy
Two of the hardest working ladies in DC style (and 2 of our favorites), Kate Warren of Go Kate Shoot fame and Elise Peterson of It’s Vintage Darling are throwing a celebration of men’s style and all that surrounds it this Thursday, April 26th, at The Water Street Project.
The WW Club includes whiskey tasting, burlesque, and a performance art piece by Quincy Jones and Prepster Punk. We’re excited to see what Quincy is up to - we love his style and work on events past.
Partners in this event are Jack Spade, Alton Lane and Hugh & Crye, plus Federal, Accoutre, Dr. K’s Vintage, It’s Vintage Darling, The Good Kin and Ginger Root Design.
Tickets are available on The WW Club event page: HERE Keep updated on the event with The WW Club Facebook event page: HERE

ReadysetDC Fall/Winter 2011 Meet & Greet

One of our favorite parts of fashion events in DC is meeting new creative people. Last week’s ReadysetDC Fashion:District Fall/Winter 2011 Meet & Greet at the Dunes was no exception. Although we didn’t have a chance to talk to many designers we had a fun time chatting with old friends and meeting new ones. Here are some of our pictures:

Mighty Aphrodite Fashion/Art Show

Last Saturday night in Washington, DC felt like NYC in the 60’s. Many of the city’s most fashionable and creative people filled an oppressively hot, dimly lit, raw warehouse space to witness the beginning of something. The individuals behind DemiGODS teamed up with Quincy Jones and Khalil Muhsin (of Smith Commons) to throw the wildest fashion/art/fire-eater show ever seen in DC. You definitely had to be there to fully appreciate its magic.

The fashion show featured looks from Redeem, Tari, It’s Vintage Darling, and Palace 5, in addition to models climbing on scaffolding. We loved the energy of the event and have many more pictures to share over the coming week.
