The President Wears Prada for Northern Virginia Magazine

Way back in January we photographed a feature for Northern Virginia Magazine. The photo shoot was planned with a Spring theme in mind, which lead us to choose a farm near Middleburg, Virginia as the setting. We were counting on evergreen trees and a so-far extremely mild winter to aid us in our simulation of Spring. In true chaotic photo shoot fashion, the only day of snow accumulation this winter occurred on the day of the shoot. So we improvised, threw the plan out the window, and shot indoors; it worked out great!

The article is on bloggers with ties to Northern Virginia, featuring Spicy Candy DC, DC Alejandra, La Petite Marmoset, La Belle Vie Ashley, and The President Wears Prada. We had a great time photographing some of our best style blogger friends. Also much thanks goes out to the behind-the-scenes photographer: Sebastian Marin, who served double duty as my assistant for the photo shoot.

La Petite Marmoset Holiday Lookbook 2011 - Behind the Scenes

We tend to be picky about photography here at TPWP. So when we met Sebastian Marin a few months ago we were excited. It’s not everyday you meet a talented young photographer.

You may recognize Sebastian’s work from the La Petite Marmoset blog. He did a similarly great job here capturing all the craziness behind the scenes at the LPM shoot. We look forward to working with him again in the near future.
