Since the first day I set foot in the modern wing of the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery, I was mesmerized by Nam June Paik‘s extraordinary installation featuring fifty-one channels, custom electronics, and neon lighting

my new favorite shoes: the BCBG Gamma open-toe mesh booties (they are remarkably comfortable)

I’m wearing one of my favorite purchases from Hu’s Wear, this Proenza Schouler printed orange tweet jacket from Spring 2011, GAP ripped jeans, and BCBG Gamma Open-Toe Mesh Booties.

In addition to Electronic Superhighway, you can also view 67 artworks and more than 140 items from the Archive in the exhibition titled “Nam June Paik: Global Visionary” on the North side of the 3rd floor in the Smithsonian American Art Museum from December 13, 2012 – August 11, 2013.

the pictures are really really fantastic here. that glowing neon effect is really evident and it’s lovely.

Thanks Andrea! We tried to capture that unmistakable neon light and glad you find it as compelling as we did :)

Love the blazer jean look and the shoes add an extra pop of “sexy”! Great location for post also..especially on cold winter days (not like today obvio) lol.

I bought a prada handbag today in a charity shop, it looks authentic –
the stitching is perfect, it is genuine leather – i know by the smell of
it – the only thing is the lining! it does not say prada on it anywhere
but it is lined with pure genuine very soft suede the same colour as the bag and has a logo tag
perfectly stitched onto the inside pocket. It is wine in colour
underneath the handles are buckles it also has buckles on each side of
it. The prada logo on the outside is a triangle metal plate with raised
leters on it and it is mounted onto a leather triangle the same colour
as the bag – the zips open and close very smoothly but they dont have
anything embossed on them – Is the bag real or fake? – it is extremely
well made and is made of extremely good quality leather and suede.
